
Mansell Laidler

Born and raised in Newcastle, Mansell Laidler has over 45 years of experience within the NSW legal system. He began his career in the Attorney General's Department (Local Courts), where he spent 20 years and completed his law degree through Macquarie University while serving as Clerk of the Court at Woy Woy.
Mansell was subsequently recruited into private practice on the Central Coast and later worked throughout the North Coast and Central Coast regions before returning to Newcastle in 1999. As a solicitor, he has extensive experience in criminal law, general litigation and a broad range of Local Court matters.
Well-known throughout the Local and District Courts of NSW, Mansell is recognised for both his legal acumen and his approachable, good-humoured nature.
Outside of his legal work, Mansell enjoys spending time with his wife, four children and five grandchildren. He is an avid surfer, music lover, and enjoys catching up with family and friends over a beer
