Welcome to Ramsland Laidler Solicitors

Mark Ramsland started in sole practice in 1996 in the historic T & G Building in the heart of the Legal Precinct of the Newcastle CBD. In 1999 he merged with the respected long standing firm of Borthwick Wilson Smith and Bates. Mansell Laidler and James Wallace have now joined Mark in practice as Ramsland Laidler Solicitors. The firm has now relocated to 57 Watt Street Newcastle, adjacent to the Newcastle Court complex.

Mark has 15 years experience representing his clients in all courts and in particular has extensive experience in criminal matters. Mansell has worked in the Court system and as a solicitor for 35 years. James is an experienced Family Law and criminal practitioner.

In particular Ramsland Laidler now operate in the discrete areas of criminal and motor traffic law, family law, conveyancing, wills and estates, dust disease matters, and general practice.

We also offer home visits, especially for the elderly or ill if required.
